On July 23, 2024, NAX had the honor of meeting with Major General Anastasios Polychronos, Commander of the Hellenic Military Academy, during a ceremony recognizing the company’s contribution to the Academy’s research activities.
As part of the ceremony, Iordanis Axakalis was presented with an honorary plaque bearing the emblem of the Hellenic Military Academy, in recognition of NAX’s contribution to the design and manufacturing of a hydrophone mounting system for research purposes, developed in collaboration with Lieutenant Commander Spyridon Desalerma and Professor Nikos Daras.
Following the ceremony, NAX presented its capabilities to Professor Daras, leading to discussions about potential participation in future research programs and further cooperation. A follow-up meeting, including Major General Polychronos, is planned to take place at the NAX facilities in September.
The recognition reflects NAX’s commitment to supporting innovation, research, and Greece’s defense sector, while strengthening its collaboration with academic and military institutions.
